The library opens each day at 9:00 a.m. everyday. The library houses over 12,000 books and we strive to keep our collection current. Our non-fiction section includes a Large Print section, special collections, and an extensive biography collection.
The Underground Readers: Twice a month the Underground Readers meet during lunch to discuss what the students are reading. Our book fairs have been very successful and the proceeds allow us to continue to add to our collection. Our next book fair will be held September 3, 2010 - September 10, 2010 Chaparral parents and teachers are great supporters of literacy in this community. Our library reflects this.
