You will be researching this online not with Chapter 19 you are only using the introduction to guide you.
-Using the graphic organizer as a guide you will compare and contrast Northern, Southern, and Central California using any method you wish, powerpoint presentation or google slides( 15 slides) essay or (5-6 sentences per paragraph minimum of 4 paragraphs per section, this includes 4 paragraphs for Northern, 4 for Central, and 4 for Southern = 12 paragraphs. You also need an introduction and conclusion. )
Or comic strips, mural, poster, or anything creative. When Creating something other than writing an essay make sure that you have captions and explain the differences not only with photos and drawings, this is for the poster, comic strips, etc.. You must include images with 3 sentence captions for each photo. And a comparative paragraph.
For a mural or photo collage you will need at least a separate one-page explanation.

Write a one page minimum Essay, from your perspective, of Northern and Southern advantages and disadvantages. Elaborate on your opinions, give evidence and examples from your notes on Ch. 19, 20, and 21.

Students will create a 2 paragraph (5-6) full sentence essay. This essay will include one focused topic of contemporary (modern) influence that still exist today from Mexicano culture. Your first paragraph will include an in depth description of the focused topic when it first began in the southwest, as well as why you choose that specific topic. The second paragraph will include how that topic has changed over time and the reach of its influence (how has it changed peoples lives or influenced other cultures). You also must include a picture of your topic with a 1-2 sentence description.
