Lesson 8, Section 9: Read the section and answer both questions 1 and 2

Lesson 8, Section 10: Read the section and answer, using text boxes, what the three gentlemen would say. BE CERTAIN TO....say "Yes" or "No" and then explain why. Each speech bubble will be worth two points: one simply for saying "yes" or "no" (and being accurate about it).

Answer both questions 1 and 2. Be sure to identify, in question 2, which of the three methods of electing the president you find to be best.

Section 6: Question 1 (Question 2 own your own if you did not get it from me during class time)
Section 7: Question 1 Use a textbox, no illustration needed; Question 2 Identify THREE parts to the compromise.

For Section 4: I provided the answer in class for you to copy for question 1. The only reason you should not have that is if you were absent. Question 2 is the one where you were assigned either the Virginia Plan or the New Jersey Plan. Your class partner was assigned the other. Please ensure that you have completed all of questions 1 and 2 by Tuesday, 12/8/20 at 8AM.

For Section 5: Read the one page for this section (either online or page 152 in your textbook) and answer both questions one and two.

Be sure to mark it as done in Google Classroom after completing in TCI. You can always go back into the text to find the answers.....should be getting high marks on this task.

Watch CNN10 on your own and complete the squares in your copy of the "Current Events Worksheet" For the number at the very top, you will enter #3. For News Event Location, you will type CNN10. Do not tell me where the story took place. Be sure to have an answer for every box! Even if there is not a story that particularly you find interesting or inspiring...stretch your mind. Use your imagination. PRETEND that one of the stories is interesting or inspiring.
Make sure you are identifying WHY the story inspires you....why do you find it interesting.....what connection are you making to a story.

Complete the unit 2 timeline found between Lessons 7 and 8. Remember, all 13 questions are required. That last one is not optional, no matter how is may sound like it is.

This is the section you were to have completed and submitted on TCI prior to going on your mid-class break. For those who were absent, the instructions are to answer questions 1-3 for Lesson 7, section 7.

For section 6: Answer questions 1, 2, and 3.
For section 7: Simply read it.

Questions 1-3 ONLY

Make sure sections 1-4 are finished by the next time you are in class. As ALWAYS, 8AM completion time. Remember, you do not have to answer the questions about the Capture the Flag game.

If your last name begins with the letter A through Lee, you are to read and respond the questions found in section 1.
If your last name begins with the letter Li through Z, you are to read and respond the questions found in section 2.

Complete the lesson game. If you need to go back into the chapter to find the answers, please do so...but do your best to answer the questions based on what you know, first. Be sure to come back here after completing the game to mark this assignment as done.

Complete all four text boxes that illustrates a timeline of major events from this section. Soldiers leave Boston and head to Concord. Many key things happen in between. One more thing happens after the British encounter the Minutemen in Concord.
Be sure to turn the assignment in on TCI, then return to GC to mark as done here.

Complete the assigned questions for these two sections on TCI. Be sure to return here to mark as done (turn it in) upon completion.

Remember, to get to BrainPop, you must access it by clicking on the icon found in the student portal. If you have logged into your school's Google account before doing so, you should be fine. There is NO NEED to type in a user name or password. If you do that, you will not get to BrainPop the correct way and there will not be record of your score.
Be sure to watch the video all the way to the end. Otherwise, BP will show the Video part of the assignment as incomplete.
Finally, be sure to return to Google Classroom and mark this assignment as done once you have completed both parts.

The exam will be focused on the content of lesson 03 and touch upon the Great Awakening from lesson 04.

Using just the information provided in the timeline section at the end of unit 1, answer questions 1 through 10 & 14 with complete sentences. This is assigned to you in TCI. Once you complete the questions, you MUST come back here to Google Classroom to mark the assignment as done. Your assignment is not considered complete without this final step taking place.

Presentation of Colonies will take place on Wednesday, 9/23/20. Be sure your slideshow has been shared with me and that you are ready to go prior to then. Be sure that everyone in your group comes here and marks this assignment as done AFTER you are all satisfied with the creation of your project.

Have the information recorded on the spoke maps for all colonies in Lesson 3, sections 3-9. I will provide you with what you need for section 2. We have dedicated several days of class time to this as well as this being your only homework as of recent, so please do not let this go uncompleted. Once you have turned in sections 3-9, you MUST return here to TCI to mark this assignment as done. Note the date and time it is due.

Based upon the colony you were assigned to, read your section of TCI then complete the spoke diagram at the bottom. You do not need to include symbols. Be sure to refer back to the map in the introductory section of lesson 3 to help with the economy. Due on Wednesday.
Be sure to mark it as done in Google Classroom or it will be considered late (even if you did it).

Please open the CHART first. Complete the information for your tribe that you previously read about. Then, we will be filling in your chart for the other tribes as the week passes.
By Wednesday, please open and reply to the Lesson 01 Paragraph assignment....Take note of the due date and time.

You will respond in the attached Google Doc. with three statements about you that are almost unbelievably awesome! The thing is....two of your statements will be true and one will not be. More instructions will be given in the Zoom.
