Welcome to Concert Band. In this class, students will continue to develop their skills including: Instrument playing skills, listening skills, music literacy and composition.

Grades will be calculated based on the following categories:
1. Participation and Effort
2. Homework Assignments
3. Quizzes and Tests
4. Playing Skill Assessments
5. Practice Timesheets
Parent Portal:
Class format:
Distance Learning. Students will find assignments, links, etc on their google classroom. Virtual Class meetings will be held on zoom. Students will receive grades for assignments even though we are operating online.
CONCERTS
All concerts and performances are mandatory for this class. The Cadet band typically performs 3 times per year at school, and attends a band festival off campus. Note: During Distance learning, all concerts, rehearsals and field trips are suspended until further notice.
