Homework Requests

Your child's homework can be requested on the 2nd consecutive day of absence.  

Please call (909) 861-6227, before 11:00 a.m., to request homework.  In order to give the teacher time to fill the request, we ask that you call as early as possible, on the 2nd day of absence.  

Many teachers post the homework assignments online, so please check the individual "teacher's page", as an alternative to requesting homework.  Teachers' pages can be found on the Chaparral website. 

Homework will only be requested for the following subjects:  Mathematics, Language Arts,  Science and Social Studies.

Homework may be picked up between 2:00 & 3:30 p.m., at the front office counter. Please call the school office to verify that homework has been left for you.  Remember, this is a "request" and every effort will be made to fill the request, but it is ultimately up to the teacher and his/her schedule. 

If you know that your child will be missing at least 5 (consecutive) days of school, we offer an optional program called, "Independent Study".  Please see the link for more information.
