Welcome to Mrs. Ebel's webpage!
I am the 7th grade counselor. This is my 8th year at Chaparral Middle School. I am proud to say that I have worked in the Walnut Valley Unified School District since 1999 and this is my 28th year in education. I have served as a teacher, Elementary Learning Specialist (ELS), Title I Coordinator, Intervention Teacher, Elementary School Counselor and currently an SSRA at Chaparral Middle School.

I am extremely excited to work with you and your 7th grader this school year. The 7th grade year is such an exciting year in middle school. My role is to provide student support in the following domains: academic, personal/social, and career development.

Google Classroom:
I have an 7th grade Counseling Google Classroom that I would highly encourage every 7th grader to enroll. If you are not connected to this Google Classroom, please email me and I will provide you with the classroom code. It is a great way for me to communicate and send out information to all students. I will continue to update this google classroom throughout our school year with valuable information.
If you would like to meet with me to get help or talk, please email me at [email protected]

If you have any concerns regarding your child's academic and personal/social progress or questions in general regarding Chaparral, please contact me by calling our office between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm at (909) 861-6227 or through my email [email protected]
Schedule Change Request Form:
If you are in need of requesting a schedule change please use the link below. Guidelines for schedule changes are as follows: Request for schedule changes cannot be made for teacher preference or to be in the same class with a friend. Class changes if possible will only be made within the first two weeks of the fall semester based on available space or placed on a waiting list. For electives, we CANNOT guarantee a student will get their 1st choice. The last day for schedule changes will be Friday 8/26/22. (Link will be coming soon!)
Thank you for visiting!
