Community Club

The Chaparral Community Club (CCC) is a volunteer parent/school organization comprised of Chaparral parents and interested community residents. The CCC is under the auspice of the Walnut Valley Unified School District's Coordinating Council and the oversight of Chaparral principal, Ron Thibodeaux. We have a Board of Directors and operate in accordance with an approved, annual budget. Meetings are open to the general public and are normally held the fourth Monday of each month at 3:30 p.m. in the schools Teacher's Lounge. If you'd like more information, please contact gmunoz@walnutvalley.k12.ca.us and the appropriate person or committee will contact you. The purpose of this website is to communicate to parents specific CCC information or school-related information that we think might be helpful. Let's face it, our children are getting older, more independent, and not sharing with us as much information as they did when they were younger, and yet the parent/child and parent/school relationship is vitally important in middle school.
