Create a Google Doc in this assignment to write your answers to the comprehension questions for Chapters 1 and 2.

Monday: Read Chapter 1 Down the Rabbit Hole and complete the “While Reading” questions for chapter 1 from page 45. Create a Google Doc in the Google Classroom Assignment to type and submit your answers. You may also listen to the audiobook for the chapters.

Wednesday: Read Chapter 2 Pool of Tears and complete the “While Reading” questions for chapter 2 from page 45.
Write these answers on the same Google Doc you created for Chapter 1.

Friday: Go to https://flipgrid.com/dalton5337 and upload a video of you talking about your favorite parts of Chapters 1 and 2. Write a 6 sentence summary and draw a picture of what happened in Chapters 1 and 2 of the book.

Please create a doc within this assignment and type your five paragraph argumentative essay here. Be sure to start with a great hook, background and thesis statement in your intro paragraph. Then, type three body paragraphs that each start with a transition and a reason that supports your claim. Finally, finish up with your conclusion paragraph where you restate your thesis statement and conclude with a snappy ending!

1. Choose a topic from the list below or check with Mrs. Dalton if you would like to choose a topic not listed.
2. Create a Google Doc below in this assignment to record your research. IMPORTANT!! - Be sure to copy/paste all links onto the document for future reference and copy/paste the title of the article. See my sample for an example.
3. Research articles/information about your topic. Make sure to find information for both sides of the issue. Record any of your research findings, including quotes with the name of the person who said the quote, statistics, facts, etc., in your notebook or on this document so you can refer back to all of your evidence. You must find at least five different sources.
