The Los Angeles Unified School District has started a new campaign to combat the growing use of social media by students to post or send photos or videos of a sexual nature. The "Now Matters Later" Initiative teaches students about the dangers of sexting, and the possible social, disciplinary, and criminal consequences. Click here for more information.

What is the role of a counselor?
The counselors at Chaparral meet the needs of our students by providing counseling support in the areas of personal/social, academics, and career.

Each grade level is assigned a particular counselor.  Look below to see who your counselor is.
