Due:
In the attached document called "Orchestra Listening Assignment," you will see a grid with different pieces of music. The different eras of music are represented: Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century, 21st Century. There is also one FREE SPACE, in which you can select a piece of your own choosing. You will choose one piece to listen to per class period, which will come out to two pieces per week. Ideally, you will complete one on Monday, and one on Wednesday, and then submit them together on Wednesday.
The document called "Listening Assignment: Questions," has two sets of the same questions for each piece you listen to for the week. You will submit them both at the same time.
You will complete this assignment each week until the end of the school year.

This week, I'm only giving you ONE Flipgrid to do, because it might take you a couple of days to get it right. I recommend starting to teach your person today, and then filming the final product later in the week. It is due on Friday.
Teach someone in your house how to play your instrument! Have them play a D major scale or Mary Had a Little Lamb, or something else simple of your choosing. Your video can be a maximum of 5 minutes, so it can show any number of things, such as:
- The process of teaching (You can start and stop your video to show the different parts of learning)
- You demonstrating, and then your "student" trying
- Your student trying to play, and you correcting them
- Etc.
No instrument? Teach a family member how to read music in your clef. Teach them the names of the lines and spaces, and then quiz them on what they learned. Film this process and upload on FlipGrid.
Videos have a maximum of 5 minutes. You do NOT have to use this whole time, but can if you want to.
