Assistant Principal's Message

Dear Chaparral Community:

Our educators are committed to offering a supportive learning environment for our Chaparral students, and our SSRAs are dedicated to providing counseling services focused on emotional wellness to academic guidance, and more. Chaparral prides itself on strengthening the four A's among our students through opportunities to achieve their fullest potential in their Academics, Arts, Athletics, and Activities. Our academic programs offer highly skilled teachers, 21st-century technology, strategic interventions, and partnerships with our parents to increase students' success. Our art programs allow students to expand their music, drawing, Spanish, and/or digital production abilities. Our athletic programs allow students an experience to be "Cougar Strong" through healthy habits, physical conditioning, and goal-oriented. In addition, Chaparral hosts activities through our ASB program and clubs happening either during the school day or after school with a staff advisor supervising our student groups. Having been at Chaparral for about 15 years, I am honored to be part of a community that fosters student engagement as a school-wide goal and I am grateful to be surrounded by staff who continue to prioritize campus safety. With that said, please review the following helpful information to reference during the 2023-2024 school year:

Helpful Tips:
  • Please use our teachers' website(s) and/or Google Classroom as a resource.
  • Parents/guardians are encouraged to contact the teacher(s) for class insight or grade book details, as they are the primary source of information about their course curriculum.
  • Students should contact their respective teacher(s) for clarification via email about assignments.
  • Students should always use good digital citizenship online with their Chaparral community.
